Bob's Plan
As the adopted mascot for the Boscombe Beach/town and Surf Reef area of Bournemouth, Boscombe Bob, with the help of the local community, council and businesses, is aiming to make the Boscombe Beach mile:
The Safest, Cleanest, Sportiest and simply the most Enjoyable stretch beach for: families, water sport enthusiasts and anyone who fancies coming to the coolest beach on the South Coast.
He wants to help children between the ages of 8-14 to learn how to respect the beach, the lifeguards, sea rangers and the sea.
He will be helping to keep the streets clean in the precinct and you will see him around at many events that have been planned throughout the year.

Mission Statement
Bob will strive to help educate children (mainly from the ages 8 through to 14) in all beach sport activities and prepare them to enjoy the vast number of water sports on offer in Boscombe Spa as they get older.
Activities will include controlled 50m and 100m sea swims under the supervision of RNLI lifeguards which will prepare them for their first supervised sea exploits and/or surf lessons.
What Bob's Up To
When Bob's not reporting for the local media he often takes a walk along the beach front at Boscombe ~ maybe you'll see him there:-)
PSSSSSSST ~ Don't tell everyone but . . . .Bob is usually down on Boscombe Seafront everyday sometime between 12 noon and 4pm if the weather's OK ~ keep your eyes open for him!
